Hello fellow Raiders. We have exciting news for you!

A few months ago we discovered that a Season 2 for Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft was already being worked on but we didn't have a confirmed release date. But today we finally got confirmation and more information!

Netflix has officially set a December 11, 2025 premiere date for the second and final season of the animated series Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft from Legendary Television.

The plot details released include:

When adventurer Lara Croft discovers a trail of stolen African Orisha masks, she joins forces with her best friend Sam to retrieve the precious artifacts. Lara’s thrilling new adventure takes her around the globe as she delves deeper into the hidden secrets of Orisha history, dodging the machinations of a dangerous and enigmatic billionaire who wants the masks for herself, while discovering these relics contain dark secrets and a power that defies logic. Power that may, in fact, be divine.

We will have returning actors like Hayley Atwell reprising her role as Lara Croft, Allen Maldonado as Zip and Earl Baylon coming back to his role of Lara's longtime friend Jonah.
New faces include Karen Fukuhara playing Sam Nishimura (yes! the same from Tomb Raider 2013) and O-T Fagbenle as Eshu.

From Legendary Television, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft is executive produced and written by Tasha Huo (The Mighty Nein, The Witcher: Blood Origin, Red Sonja). Executive producers include Story Kitchen (Sonic the Hedgehog, Life Is Strange) co-founders Dmitri M. Johnson and Mike Goldberg, Timothy I. Stevenson, Jacob Robinson (Skull Island) under his company Tractor Pants, Dallas Dickinson and Noah Hughes for Crystal Dynamics, and Jen Chambers. Powerhouse Animation is the animation studio, with Brad Graeber serving as executive producer.
